Winston-Salem men given various drug charges

On March 11 at about 11pm, Officers with the Winston Salem Police Departments Patrol Division were conducting foot patrol in the area of W 25th St and Patterson Ave when they detected a strong odor of fresh marijuana somewhere in the area.  Their investigation led them to the residence at 2500 N Patterson Ave where they conducted a knock-and-talk.  Upon making contact the residents Officers obtained consent to search from the residents.  A consent search of the residence yielded a complete marijuana grow operation including heat lamps, fans, fertilizer, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia, 12 marijuana plants, and over 1,880 grams of cultivated marijuana.  Total value of all seized evidence was approximately $39,000.00.

The owner of the residence is Mr. Ronnie Lee Fillingim, Jr. and he resides at this house with Mr.  Bobby Joe Moore. 
Fillingim was arrested and charged with Possession with intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling for the purpose of Violating the Controlled Substance Act, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was given a $5,000 secured bond with a court date of 03/28/2014.
