"The Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) is holding “Operation Move” from 9 am to 1 pm Saturday, May 17 at the Greensboro Coliseum, 1921 W. Lee St. “Operation Move” includes a Superhero Fun Run beginning at 9 am, and activity stations such as basketball and street hockey and inflatable bounce houses begin at 10 am.
“Operation Move” is geared towards children ages 6-12. Fees for the Fun Run are $10 now through April 30 and $15 on-site. Admission for just the activities is $8 on-site. The event is to encourage kids to be physically active, live healthy lifestyles, and have a great time! Parents may also pick up education resources to help them keep their kids committed to healthy living.
