"Today at approximately 9 am members of the Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension team arrested Malcolm Wayne Simpson, 21, of 4814 Silverbriar Ct. for the shooting of Devon Ja-Qual Feimster. Simpson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Mr. Simpson is currently being held in the Guilford County Jail under $150,000 bond.
The details of the incident are June 12 at approximately 2:26 am, Greensboro Police Officers responded to the Exxon station located at 801 East Market St. in reference a shooting call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Devon Ja-Qual Feimster, BM, 25, of Greensboro, in the parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Feimster had been involved in an altercation with two (2) subjects known to him. Feimster was transported to the hospital where he was treated and remains in critical condition."
