The O’Jays will perform live in concert at Greensboro’ s War Memorial Auditorium on Friday, September 5 at 8 p.m., the final scheduled event for the 55-year-old venue.

The O'Jays are one of the world’s truly legendary singing groups and an American treasure. With a unique place in the history of music, The O’Jays have generated 24 top ten smash records and 59 total songs on the charts. Also renowned for their incredibly energetic and dynamic live shows, the O’Jays long list of hits include "Back Stabbers," "For The Love Of Money," "Darlin' Darlin' Baby," "Love Train," "I Love Music," "Use Ta Be My Girl" and "Have You Had Your Love Today."

Born and raised in Monroe, North Carolina (and a childhood friend of K-Ci and Jo Jo), Calvin Richardson grew up on gospel music and classic R&B and those roots shine forth brightly in his music. He made his solo debut in 1999 with the album Country Boy."
