"The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market is hosting Peach Day for a relaxing morning after Independence Day. There will be a peach cobbler tasting as well as peach ice cream tasting. Guest chef Mary Lacklen will be preparing the peach cobbler.
The peaches are donated by Phillip’s Farm and Chappell’s Peaches, and the flour is provided by The Old Mill of Guilford, all regular vendors at the farmer’s market. The peach ice cream is homemade by Phillip’s Farm.
There will also be cobbler for purchase - $8 per container. All proceeds are to benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market.
Live music will be performed by Laura Jane Vincent starting at 9 AM. Vincent is a folk/indie rock guitarist and singer from Greensboro, North Carolina. Picnic table seating is provided, and patrons are encouraged to bring seating as well.
