Rock 92 and 1075KZL10th Annual Summertime Brews Festival Presented by Bestway Grocery

"Can we get ya a beer??   It’s no problem ‘cause we got nearly 400 beers to choose from. The Triad’s very own beer festival, the Summertime Brews Festival presented by Bestway Grocery, Rock 92 and 1075KZL is Ten Years Old. It has sold out every year since 2005.  It happens on Saturday July 12 from 2:30 p.m. until  8 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex’s Special Events Center.

Attendees receive a commemorative etched sampling glass for the beer tasting.  They may then taste a sample from over 400 premium craft beers, ales and meads that are featured. The Animal Rescue and Foster Program donate time and talent to the Summertime Brews Festival and a portion of the proceeds are donated to them.

Live entertainment at the Summertime Brews Festival will include Benjy Johnson, Carolina Coalmine and Chasing Daylight. Food trucks will be in attendance outside on the festival lawn.

Tickets for the 2014 Summertime Brews Festival are on sale now, however there are a limited number of tickets.  Tickets can be purchased in Greensboro at Natty Greene’s Brew Pub and the, Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery in High Point and in Winston-Salem at Foothills Brewing Company.  Tickets are also available online at www.ticketmaster.com and the Greensboro Coliseum box office.  No one under 21 will be admitted into the Summertime Brews Festival, no exceptions.
