Pair arrested for felony breaking and entering and more of several Triad businesses.

"Authorities with the Winston-Salem Police Department have been investigating a series of breaking and entering cases that have occurred within the last seven days in the vicinity of Stratford Road and Hawthorne Road.  More than a dozen businesses have been targeted by thieves in the early morning hours, in which cash and merchandise were taken. 
Shortly after 2:00 a.m. this morning, officers encountered Connor Owen Sebastian and Ashley Nicole Vansutphen near Arthur’s Café, which is located at 1416 S. Hawthorne Road.  Officers discovered that a breaking had just occurred at the business and after a brief foot pursuit; both subjects were taken into custody without further incident.

Authorities have charged Ashley Nicole Vansutphen, 20, 2773 Lyndhurst Avenue Winston-Salem, NC and Connor Owen Sebastian, 22, 2773 Lyndhurst Ave., Winston-Salem, NC, with Felony Breaking and Entering, Possession of Burglary Tools, Resisting Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in connection with the incident at Arthur’s Café.   Additionally, Connor Sebastian has been charged with Felony Breaking and Entering in connection with an incident that occurred at Terry’s Gold Mine which is located at 1612 S. Hawthorne Road, Felony Breaking and Entering in connection with an incident that occurred at the Olive Tree Deli located at 580 S. Stratford Road, Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering in connection with an incident that occurred at Sakura Restaurant located at 548 S. Stratford Road, and Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering in connection with an earlier incident that occurred at Jackson’s Music located at 1409 S. Stratford Road.  Mr. Sebastian is currently being held in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under a $51,000.00 secured bond.
James Thomas Mullins III
Authorities have also obtained a Warrant for Arrest charging twenty-two year old James Thomas Mullins III with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering in connection to the breaking and entering that occurred at Jackson’s Music.  A booking photograph James Mullins III from a prior arrest is attached.   Authorities are actively seeking James Mullins III and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Winston-Salem Policed Department at 336-773-7700. 
Arrest photographs of Ashley Vansutphen and Connor Sebastian are also attached.  Authorities expect to pursue additional charges in these matters following a review of the evidence gathered during the investigation into these crimes.
