"The Carolina
Theatre is pleased to announce country music legend Travis Tritt in concert, solo
and acoustic, on Sat., Jan. 10, 2015.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, November
7, at noon.
Available at 310 S. Greene St, Downtown
Greensboro, 336-333-2605, or online.
Marietta, Georgia native Travis Tritt is dubbed one of “The Class of
‘89,” which included country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and
Alan Jackson, all of whom dominated the charts in the early ‘90s.
2014 marks the 25th
anniversary of Tritt’s music career, a busy year with a heavy tour schedule in
support of his album, The Calm After..., which Tritt released through the label he
formed in 2013, Post Oak Recordings. Included on The Calm After… is a duet with Tritt’s 15-year-old daughter, Tyler
Reese. The song, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” is a cover of the 1980s
pop hit. Moreover, four of the songs on the album, co-produced with Randy
Jackson, were either written or co-written by Tritt. The single, “That’s What
Dreamers Do” was inspired by the independent biopic As Dreamers Do, which is narrated by Tritt. “That’s What Dreamers
Do” is now available through iTunes and www.TravisTritt.com.
Tickets are $55.00 for premium orchestra pit
seating; $45.00, $37.50, $27.50, or $10.00, depending on location. A $2.50
theatre facility fee will be added to each ticket.
Prices include NC sales tax. On sale Friday,
November 7, at 12:00 noon.
