Boys & Girls Clubs Conducting its ‘Give the Gift of a Great Future’ Campaign

"The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point is conducting its ‘Give the Gift of a Great Future’ campaign now through January 15th, 2015.  Funds raised through the campaign will help to ensure that all youth who enter into the Boys & Girls Clubs have the Gift of a Great Future. The citizens of the greater High Point and Asheboro communities have the opportunity to positively influence and impact the youth of our community this holiday season by Giving the Gift of a Great Future.

Thomas Falgout, President/CEO of the organization says, “Since 1998, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point has helped to provide Great Futures for all young people who enter our doors, especially those who need us most.  Throughout the year, we are given the gift of amazing kids who come into our Clubs every day and share with us their stories of determination, triumph and perseverance.  You can join in this season and help us Give the Gift of a Great Future to the kids in our community.

Without safe havens like the Boys & Girls Clubs, our children have fewer opportunities to receive positive guidance and support.  With support from our community, the Boys & Girls Clubs can continue to provide youth with opportunities to build great futures.”

Every dollar counts when you consider this:

·         $500 could purchase program supplies for a quarter of a year for one Club.
·         $250 could provide a month of Health & Life Skills programming to 23 Club members.
·         $100 could provide fuel for the bus for a fieldtrip.
·         $50 could provide 15 Club members a week of Power Hour Homework Assistance.
·         $25 could buy arts & crafts supplies for 20 kids for an art project.
