"On Dec. 27 at 9:33pm, the Greensboro Police Department was notified of a Vehicle vs. Pedestrian collision involving serious injuries. The collision occurred near the intersection of Spring Garden Street / S Holden Road.
The vehicle involved was traveling on Spring Garden Street when it struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway. After the collision the vehicle left the scene. It was described as a small dark color vehicle. As a result of the collision a side mirror and headlight were broken.
The name and address of the victim is being withheld temporarily.
He is currently receiving treatment at Moses Cone Hospital for serious injuries.
The collision is being investigated by the Greensboro Police Department. If you have any information pertaining to the vehicle and operator please call Greensboro Crime Stoppers with any information (336) 373-1000."
