Gunman and partner rob person outside mexican restaurant

"On Jan.9, 2015 at approximately 12:55 am, Officers responded to Giribaldis Mexican Restaurant located at 3109 Summit Avenue in reference to a robbery call.

Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the victim who stated that he was in the parking lot of the business when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects produced a gun and forced the victim to the ground when he was then assaulted. The suspects removed personal property from the victim and fled the scene on foot heading in a southern direction on Summit Avenue.

The victim was not injured during this incident.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 5’6” tall, wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, red boxer shorts, and was armed with a gun. The second suspect was described as a black male, 6’1” tall, wearing a blacked hooded jacket. The suspects were transported to the business in a light colored vehicle operated by a black male described as a black male, 5’5” tall, having a dark complexion, dred locks, a goatee, wearing a gray hooded jacket and jeans.

The investigation is ongoing.

The name and address of the victim is being withheld temporarily.
