KLEZMER TO PREFORM AT HIGH POINT PUBLIC LIBRARY

"HIGH POINT, NC (Friday August 28^st, 2015) The High Point Public Library at 901 North Main Street, High Point, NC, will host a concert from the Klezmetzuian Yovel Band. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 9^th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm on the 1^st floor of the High Point Public Library in the Story Room

Join us here at the High Point Public Library for an exciting evening of klezmer music by Klezmetzuian Yovel Band. Klezmetzuian Yovel Band is a musical group created in Bogota Columbia. They describe themselves as an innovative fusion German-Jewish-Colombian musical group. This event is free and open to the public. Klezmetzuian Yovel Band’s CD’s will be available for purchase after the event

Klezmetzuian Yovel Band is an musical group created in Bogota in 2009 with an Innovative proposal looking for fusion German Jewish music tradition and Colombian music itself, building a new fresh sound but without losing the festive intention typical of klezmer music, that taking power with Colombian rhythms and sounds. After years of building their own musical identity, Klezmetzuian Yovel Band seeks to position itself in the local and national scene, revealing a new and alternative Repertoire.
