"OUT at the Movies is screening the 2015 drama, Liz in September, on Sat., Sept. 12, 7:00 PM at UNCSA’s ACE Theatre Complex, 1533 S. Main Street in Winston-Salem. Tickets are $7.00 and will be available in the ACE lobby beginning at 6:15 PM.
“Liz has known several things since she was a child: that she is gay, that beauty is power, and that she would never be a victim. Determined to enjoy the time she has left on earth, she hides her terminal disease from her friends.
Eva is alone on vacation when her car breaks down. She ends up at Margot’s Inn where she meets Liz and her group of all gay friends. Liz makes a bet that she can seduce the straight newcomer. Against all odds, the encounter between these two very different women changes their lives, setting new perspectives where love, life and death, away from any morals, play as simple steps of nature.”
Proceeds will benefit the UNCSA School of Filmmaking, the North Star LGBT Center and this November’s OUT @ the Movies Fest. For more information and to see the trailer, visit www.OUTattheMoviesWinston.org. Additional questions? Call 336.918.0902"
