"On Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at 7:54 am, Greensboro Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving personal injury that occurred on Stanley Rd. near Lanada Rd. The crash involved a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.
Mr. Brian Parham (W/M, 35 years old, from Wilmington, NC) was walking north across Stanley Rd, not at crosswalk or intersection, when he was struck by a 2015 Honda Accord. Ms. Jaklyn Wolf (W/F, 26 years old, from Greensboro, NC) was operating the 2015 Honda Accord on the center turn lane at the time of the crash. Mr. Parham fell into the side of a 1999 Honda Accord being operated by Ms. Tiffany Capel (B/F, 29 years old, from Greensboro, NC), and then fell to the asphalt.
Mr. Parham was transported to Moses Cone Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. None of the other parties were injured.
Speed and impairment were not factors in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Crash Reconstruction Unit."
