"GREENSBORO, NC (November 9, 2015) – The City of Greensboro has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) seeking proposals from professional skate park design-build teams for the design and construction of a skate park at Latham Park and a skate spot at Glenwood Recreation Center. The skate park and spot will be the first designed and constructed by the City to fill a niche and offer a new and exciting recreational opportunity for residents to enjoy. Read the full RFQ here. The skate park and skate spot at Latham Park and Glenwood Recreation Center will serve as the initial anchor points ultimately leading to the creation of a skating network featuring additional skate spots/dots throughout the city. The project’s estimated budget is $575,000 and is expected to be completed by summer 2016."
