Police Looking for Two Female Robbery Suspects

"GREENSBORO, NC (Dec. 15, 2015) Greensboro police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two women suspected of assaulting and robbing a mother in front of her child.

Maria Medina Mendoza, 41, and her daughter had exited the T-Mobile store at 3208 W. Gate City Blvd. shortly after 5 pm on Dec. 7, when they were approached by two women they had seen inside the store.  According to Mendoza, one of the women grabbed her and began hitting her.  The other suspect then began kicking her. One of the suspects then took Mendoza’s wallet containing money and personal identification.

The two suspects then fled on foot. K9 and patrol officers were unable to locate the suspects at the time of the offense.

Mendoza sustained minor injuries during the incident.


Detectives obtained several images of the suspects from store staff and are asking anyone who can identify the women to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text the tip to 274637 using the keyword badboyz. All calls to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous, and may result in a reward up to $2,000."
