"On Dec. 22 at 1-"27pm Officers with the
Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the Speedway gas station, 6205 University Parkway, on a
reported Armed Robbery.
The investigation revealed that a 5'10" black male, between the ages of 35-45, wearing long dreads, a Pittsburg Steelers jacket, yellow hat, blue ski mask and armed with a silver handgun walked into the Speedway and ordered the clerk to give him
all the money.
The suspect reached over the counter and opened the register
taking an undetermined amount of money. The suspect then fled on foot in an
unknown direction. There was no one injured during this incident.
This investigation has
been referred to the Criminal Investigation Division.
