LOCAL HONEY HOSTING FAMED DESIGNER MARK MCNAIRY FOR BOOK SIGNING

Top menswear designer is Greensboro native

"Local Honey, a Top 200 salon owned by Jay Bulluck, is hosting a book signing for top menswear designer and Greensboro native Mark McNairy who has just released his sartorial guide F**k Ivy and Everything Else.

McNairy will be signing copies of the new book from noon to 3pm on Saturday, April 16 at Local Honey, located at 233 Commerce Place in Greensboro. The book is a humorous and unfiltered look at McNairy’s fashion-forward vision that combines street-smart style with classic design, a look that’s been coined “subversive preppy.”

“Mark McNairy has a cool aesthetic that’s similar to Local Honey’s vibe, and we’re both dedicated to craftsmanship and sartorial smarts.” says Jay Bulluck. “We love his combination of old school and new school, and we wanted to help him celebrate his book launch in his hometown.”

Supported by a powerful cult following of dedicated, fashion-forward men around the globe, designer Mark McNairy has risen from an under-the-radar favorite to a driving force in contemporary style. His collection of menswear and footwear, Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, is defined by a strong sense of sartorial history with an eye fixed on the future.

McNairy has been named GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer and has received accolades for his award-winning lines of menswear and footwear. His new book is a cheeky, intelligent, and educational guide to the do’s and don’ts in men’s fashion, including a list of rules that are made to be broken.
