Record Store Day started in 2008 and is now celebrated by stores worldwide with musical performances and the release of exclusive and collectible vinyl records. The Web site for the event is http://www.recordstoreday.com/ .

"Traditionally we've had customers waiting in line for us to open on Record Store Day," said general manager Jocelyn Martich. "So we're opening an hour early, 8am instead of 9am."

For every $25 spent, users will get a raffle ticket. Throughout the day RSD shwag will be raffled off. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
