GREENSBORO FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL, May 15, LARGEST TO DATE

"Greensboro, NC (May 2, 2016) – The Spring Greensboro Food Truck Festival will be held on MAY 15, 2016 from 4-9pm. VIP wristbands allow early access at 3pm.

The festival has changed its location from previous year. Formerly on Spring Garden Street, the 2016 Spring Greensboro Food Truck Festival will take place at the corner of W. Market and Greene Streets to make room for more trucks.

“This year, due to the overwhelming support of the people in the city of Greensboro we are moving downtown to expand the area and the amount of trucks to accommodate more people,” says Shari Kumiega, Greensboro Food Truck Festival organizer.

The number of trucks has grown to 53 of North Carolina’s top food trucks along with 4 North Carolina craft breweries and 2 local wineries. Local craft vendors and a kid’s zone will also be on hand. A new addition to this year’s festival will be the Cousins Maine Lobster truck, which was featured on Shark Tank in 2012.
Proceeds will be shared with 2 charities - Autism Unbound and The Food Recovery Network of UNCG.

VIP wristbands and more information can be found online at

A Fall Greensboro Food Truck Festival is currently in the planning stages and will be held in August 2016.
