Greensboro Science Center's Gala is Just Two Weeks Away

"GREENSBORO, NC — The Greensboro Science Center's (GSC) annual gala, See to Believe, will take place on Friday, September 23 from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Each year, See to Believe presents a different celebratory theme that honors the GSC's new experiences, exhibits and/or milestones. This year, the theme is Blue Skies to Blueprints, where innovation will be embraced as blue sky plans are turned in to blueprints of reality.

With several projects underway, including an aquarium expansion (to be renamed the Wiseman Aquarium), barn renovation, and the transformation of the dinosaur gallery into Prehistoric Passages: Realm of Dragons, the gala will toast the imagination and inspiration that makes such growth a reality via a variety of unique activities.
Gala guests will be encouraged to express their creativity in "imaginarium" spaces filled with artistic experiences such as a large-scale LEGO® wall and coloring pages. A new "Where the Wild Things Are" online silent auction will offer unique opportunities designed to make dreams come true - from a "Night at the Museum" sleepover adventure to a red panda feeding or a private SKYWILD party.

Attendees will be invited to dance under the stars to the sounds of Six Stylez, a high-energy dance band playing a mix of old and new hits, or relax to the mellow melodies of Tracy Thornton on steel drums in the aquarium. Heavy hors d'oeuvres from Pepper Moon Catering and a variety of beer and wine will be available for guests to enjoy as they create, explore and mingle.
Tickets to See to Believe are $75 per person and are available online at greensboroscience.org/seetobelieve. Attendees must be age 21 or older. All proceeds from the event help fund the future of the Greensboro Science Center, enabling the GSC team to continue dreaming, thinking BIG, and creating inspirational science-themed exhibits, events, and programs for our community to enjoy.
