Warrants Taken Out on Two People for Assaulting a Police Officer

"GREENSBORO, NC (Sept. 20, 2016) –Greensboro police have taken out warrants on Chalon Marshawn Little and Pamela Nicole Stamper for physically assaulting, and deliberately striking a police officer with their vehicle yesterday.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 pm Tuesday when a detective responded to a report of shoplifting from the Target at 1628 Highlands Blvd. As the detective attempted to arrest Little, the man became combative and assaulted the officer. While the two were struggling, Stamper placed the vehicle she was driving in reverse, which hit the detective.          The detective received minor injuries.

Stamper, 31, and Little, 36, have no permanent address and are known to frequent area motels. They were seen operating a sage green Chevy Malibu bearing NC registration CMA-4514, however the license plate does not belong to that vehicle.

Stamper (aka Kennedy) and Little are wanted for Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Hit and Run, and other charges related to theft.

Anyone who may know their whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text the tip to 274637 using the keyword badboyz. All calls to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous, and may result in a reward up to $2,000."
