Robbery from Person in Greensboro

GREENSBORO - At 1:05 a.m. on 12.17.2015—Police responded to the High Point Regional Hospital in reference to a possible assault involving a BB gun.  The victim stated he was walking eastbound in the 7300 block of W. Friendly Avenue at 2130 hours when he was approached by two white-males dressed in all dark color clothing.  The subjects confronted the victim and demanded money.  A physical altercation ensued before a black-male approached and shot the victim with possibly a BB gun.  The three suspects took money and property from the victim was last seen running eastbound on W. Friendly Avenue.  The victim walked home and called a family member to drive him to the hospital where he was still awaiting treatment for a non-life threatening injury.

Additional suspect information was not available.

The investigation is ongoing.

Wal-Mart in Winston-Salem robbed of undisclosed amount of cash

"Feb. 12 at 10:42pm, The Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the Wal-Mart located at 3475 Parkway Village Circle. Store personnel stated a black male wearing a red sweat shirt with a hood, gray pants, gray scarf over his face, gray shoes with glasses,  entered the business and approached an employee at the customer service area.

The suspect, about 6' tall and slim build, demanded money from the employee and was given an undisclosed amount of U.S currency before leaving the business. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect left the area in a Silver Chevrolet Silverado truck occupied by 2 additional subjects. The truck was last seen headed towards the highway.

Craigslist ruse results in robbery

"On Dec. 6,  at approximately 12:55 am, Officers responded to the parking lot area of Four Seasons Mall located at 410 Four Seasons Town Center in reference to a disorder call.

Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the victim who stated that he met the suspect, whom he met on Craigslist, in the parking lot to purchase a cellular telephone. When the victim pulled out money to give to the suspect, the suspect brandished a gun and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle occupied by two other male subjects, heading in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds, having dred locks, and armed with a gun.

There were no injuries in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.

Craigslist sale leads to robbery

"Greensboro, NC -- On July  8, 2014, at 4:50 p.m. Officers responded to 2105 Pinecroft Road at the Bank of America, reference to a robbery.  The victim agreed to meet an unknown subject, who she met on craigslist to sell an  iphone.  The victim  met with three black males, who arrived in a green Camry or Accord. The victim approached the passenger side of the vehicle and after a brief conversation the passenger attempted to grab the cell phone out of her hands. The victim  refused to let go of the cell phone and the driver sped off dragging the victim approximately 20 feet before she finally let go of the phone. The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling south on Pinecroft Road.

The victim  sustained several abrasions and was treated and released by EMS.  The victim was unable to give any further information in reference to the description of the suspects.

"On June 2, 2014 at approximately 4:30 am the individual pictured above entered the Great Stops convenience store located at 5412 W Market St and robbed the store of a disclosed amount of cash.  The suspect is described as an 18-20 year old black male who was wearing a “V for Vendetta” type mask.  The suspect fled the area on foot headed east from Great Stops.

Men look at ring and run from Kay's Jewelers in Friendly

"On May 10 at approximately 6:59 pm, Greensboro Police Officers responded to Kay’s Jewelers, 644 Friendly Center Rd., in reference to a larceny call.

Two suspects entered the business and one suspect asked to look at a ring. One of the suspects looked at the ring then he passed it to the second suspect. Both fled the scene in a gray vehicle.

Both suspects were described as black males, one wearing a white shirt, the other wearing a striped shirt.

The investigation is ongoing."

Two men rob Winston-Salem Radio Shack store

"At 11:13 a.m., officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to the Radio Shack located at 3581 N. Patterson Ave. on a reported robbery. 

While displaying a handgun, the suspects approached the counter of the business and demanded money from the store clerk. The suspects then moved the clerk to a separate location inside the business. The store clerk was instructed not to come out of this location. The clerk was not injured during the robbery. The suspects were possibly seen leaving the area in a gray 4-door vehicle.

Suspect(s) Description:

Suspect #1 – Charlotte Hornets flat billed cap, black shirt, black pants, 5’7”-5’10”tall, heavyset, armed with a handgun.

Suspect#2 – Short hair, Atlanta Braves baseball cap, white shirt with a dark print, dark pants, backpack .
