Prompted by a recent column I wrote to to celebrate the legacy of Ella Baker, Greensboro US Postal Service spokesman Carl Walton called in with a heads up that the postal service is honoring Baker with a commemorative stamp in its "Civil Rights Pioneers" series. The stamps will be released next month.
