An e-mail sent by activist Tim Hopkins says supporters of Hairston apartments residents will march from the public housing committee to Shiloh Baptist Church in Greensboro for "a legal, peaceful and spirited" sidewalk rally on Sunday. Participants are asked to assemble at 808 Marsh St. at Hairston apartments at 11:30 a.m.; the march is scheduled to arrive at Shiloh Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m.
The Hopkins e-mail states that "letters, rallies, petitions, meetings, court actions, interventions of agencies have all failed to rectify the situation. The tenants want Shiloh to make changes, and the first is to 'Evict Westminster.'"
