Newly-appointed police chief Ken Miller to press, Aug. 2: "I will say moving forward that I think City Manager Young and Assistant City Manager Speedling have already begun working since, I guess, about February with Chief Bellamy to address many of these issues. I really feel like in many respects I’m coming into an organization that’s starting to right itself in that regard, or at least from the perception standpoint, some of the internal turmoil. I also believe that the organization is, as I said earlier, fundamentally sound."
