ArtQuest sponsored a paper earring contest at the East White Oak Community Center on Tuesday. All earrings were judged by ArtQuest director Jaymie Meyer. The first-place prize went to Ayanna Crite. Ashunte Sturdivant took second place. Roderick Williams’ earrings placed third. The winners received back-to-school supplies as prizes.
The East White Oak Community Center is open to everyone in the community. Anyone who would like to donate to the community center may contact Alice Drake at 1801 10th St., Greensboro, NC 27405 or call 336.274.4555.
