David Crawford has officially withdrawn from the District 5 race for Greensboro City Council, the Guilford County Board of Elections reports. That leaves incumbent Trudy Wade and challenger Jorge Cornell as the two remaining candidates.
"No votes will be tallied," Deputy Director Charlie Collicutt said. "Jorge and Trudy are the nominees. Even though it will be on the ballot, we will not even display the results on election night."
