Democrat Norman Holleman leads balloting in the Forysth County Register of Deeds race, over Republican Karen Gordon, 53.2% to 46.8%, with 89 of 101 precincts reporting at 9:44 p.m
Republicans lead balloting for three Forsyth County Commission seats. Dave Plyler (R) pulling 27.3% of the vote, Gloria Whisenhunt (R), with 26.8%, and Richard Linville (R), with 26.6%. Democrat Gail McNeill trails with 19.2%. 44 our of 67 precincts reporting. •
