Dean puts his first day in as Guilford County's new human resources director. Dean is taking the job after serving as human resources director for neighboring Forsyth County, where he earned $106,621. In his new job serving a county government with a larger employee population, Dean will earn $125,000.
In his previous role, Dean fulfilled a public records request for employee salaries in Forsyth County. Melissa Taylor, an hourly employee who led the Guilford County Human Resources Department while the position of director remained vacant, pulled the documents together for us also.
