"Greensboro, NC (July 3, 2014) – Greensboro Police responded to E. Market Street near Holts Chapel Road on 7.3.2014 at 12:30 am in regards to to a hit and run motor vehicle crash.
A subject that was riding his bicycle west on E. Market Street was struck by a red pickup truck. The truck was possibly a Ford or GMC pickup. The truck fled west on E. Market Street.
The bicyclist was transported to Moses Cone Hospital with life threatening injuries. The name of the bicyclist is being withheld pending family notification.
The pickup truck should have damage to the right front headlight.
The crash is being investigated by the Crash Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information in regards to this case should contact Crime Stoppers at 336.373.1000."

This is so sad! I hate hit and run accidents. I hope someone was there to be a witness, because that poor biker probably couldn't have called for help. I'm glad they're alright, though. That makes me feel better. http://www.wedefend.ca/en/our_services.html
