Tucker was driving eastbound on westbound I-40 after entering the interstate from an off-ramp near the I-85/I-40 exchange. Callers to 911 reported seeing a blue sedan traveling in the wrong direction in at approximately 10:30 am

She was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Her toddler, who had no visible signs of injury and was properly secured in a child safety seat, was also transported for a medical evaluation.

The two occupants of the second vehicle complained of possible back injuries and were also transported by EMS to a hospital.

The driver of the first vehicle to stop did not report any injury.
