Applications Now Available for Greensboro Farmers Curb Market “MADE 4 the Holidays” Scheduled for Sun., Nov. 16 and Sun., Dec. 7


"Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro, NC 27405) is accepting applications for the community’s favorite holiday shows with an emphasis on quality, local handcrafted artisan goods.  The two events features arts, crafts and packaged artisan food items for holiday gift giving.

Artist Applications and guidelines are available online: http://gsofarmersmarket.org/craftpottery-vendors/craft-and-pottery-show-vendors-info/. They are also available at the market management desk during Saturday and Wednesday markets. Applications will be accepted during market hours or postmarked by September 13.

Original works in the following media are being accepted to this anticipated show with gift giving for the holiday season in mind:
·         Candles handcrafted candles of all types made by the artist
·         Leather ­
·         Personal care products­ handcrafted soap, lotions, bath salts,  
·         Fiber/ wearable art
·         Garden art
·         Glass: blown, fused or stained
·         Ceramics
·         Painting: decorative or fine art
·         Jewelry
·         Metal work forged or altered by the artist
·         Mixed Media
·         Photography
·         Packaged artisan food gifts

Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) operates the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on behalf of the City of Greensboro.  GFM is a “501c3” nonprofit. GFM, Inc.’s Mission is to provide greater Greensboro with opportunities to purchase and learn about local food and crafts while interacting with producers and each other in a friendly and diverse social setting.
