AUTHENTIC NC GOODS BRINGS THE BEST OF OUR STATE TO HIGH POINT

"Authentic NC Goods, a specialty gift store in High Point, has recently opened offering original products exclusively made in North Carolina. The store will hold a grand opening event located at 1701 North Main Street on September 19, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and September 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Authentic NC Goods offers unique North Carolina creations “From Here, Found Here” that includes items such as jewelry from Artist by Jay, soap and lotions by Donna’s Delights, pottery, food, hand-woven cloth, recycled metal sculptures, gift baskets and even natural dog treats made locally by handicapped children.

“We’ve already seen a great response to our opening,” said Annie Murphy, Owner at Authentic NC Goods. “I’ve personally selected each item available in our store by traveling across the state meeting every person who has merchandise in the store. I hope our North Carolina local residents appreciate and come out to support local people and their products.”

For the grand opening event, Authentic NC Goods is planning on offering a taste-testing of several local products including Bertie’s peanuts, rosemary caramel popcorn, Moravian cookies and moonshine jam. Also, Authentic NC Goods will offer up a chance to win a one-of-a-kind North Carolina gift basket that includes items such as pottery, food, candles and more.
