"On Sept. 5 about 9pm, Officers with the Winston-Salem Police
Department responded to Family Dollar, 2802 University Parkway, on a reported Armed
Robbery. Store personnel reported that the suspect entered the business,
displayed a firearm, and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a black
male, 22-26-years of age, approximately 5’6, 130lbs, wearing a red San Francisco 49ers ball cap,
dark gray hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and white bandana, concealing his face
The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of currency and
exited the business. The suspect has an
unknown method of travel.
This case will be
referred to the Criminal Investigation Division for follow-up investigation.
