Man stands in front of car, while second comes at driver with handgun

"At 11:52 p.m. Sept. 6, Greensboro Police Officers responded to Garibaldis Mexican Restaurant at 3109 Summit Ave. in reference to an attempted robbery.  The victim stated she was traveling northbound on Summit Ave. at Twain Road when she was stopped by the first subject who stood in front of her vehicle.  The second subject approached the driver’s side and brandished a handgun.  The victim managed to drive-off safely and call 911.  No injuries were reported and nothing was taken.

The first suspect was described as a tall black-male with short hair, wearing a short sleeve black shirt.  The second suspect was shorter, with long hair, wearing black glasses, a white or grey hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants and armed with a handgun.

The investigation is ongoing.

Eastern Division Patrol Officers, K9 and CSI responded to this incident.  CID was notified.
