Attempted Commercial Robbery of Pizza Hut driver

"At 7:08 p.m. Jan. 9—Greensboro Police responded to the Pizza Hut at 2344 Randleman Road in reference to an attempted robbery of their delivery driver.  The delivery driver was approached at the stop sign at Dinsmore Street and Lansdown Avenue by two suspects.  One approached the driver side while displaying a handgun and the second suspect approached the passenger side.  When the suspects demanded money, the driver sped away and returned to the business before calling the police.

The suspects were described as two black-males in their late teens.  The first suspect was 5’07-5’08, slim-build with a northern accent.  He was last seen wearing a black toboggan with a black hooded-sweatshirt and black pants and armed with a handgun.  The second suspect was 5’10-6’0, stocky-build and also wearing a black toboggan with a black hooded-sweatshirt and black pants.

The investigation is ongoing.
