On Friday, Aug. 7 the legendary group will take the stage at White Oak Amphitheatre at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Special guest SWV will open the show, which begins at 8 p.m.

As the founder of Maze, Frankie Beverly has created one of R&B’s most consistently popular bands with more than 30 hit singles, nine of which have been Top 10 R&B charted songs including the classics “Running Away,” “Love is the Key, “Can’t Get Over You” and “Silky Soul.”  Eight of the group’s 10 albums have gone gold.

SWV, also known as Sisters with Voices, is a Grammy-award nominated female R&B/pop trio from New York. Formed in 1990, SWV had a series of hits, including "Weak," "Right Here/Human Nature" and "I'm So Into You.” "
