"GREENSBORO, NC (June 16, 2015) – During its meeting tonight, Greensboro City Council appointed Justin Outling to replace Zack Matheny as the District 3 representative. Outling is a business litigation attorney in the Greensboro office of Brooks Pierce and is also a 2005 graduate of UNC Greensboro
Outling is on the board of directors for the UNCG Board of Visitors and Alumni association and has served as chair of the Greensboro Minimum Standards Housing Commission and co-chair of Action Greensboro’s synerG program.
Council voted 7-2 in favor of Outling’s appointment, with Councilmember Matheny abstaining (his vote counted in favor). Outling will serve out the remainder of Matheny’s term, which ends this year."
