"GREENSBORO, NC (July 21, 2015) – The City’s Transportation Department has added a second electric vehicle charging station on City-owned property, both of which are available for use 24 hours a day. They are:
- Greene Street Parking Deck, first floor along the Washington Street side of the deck. Rates to use the "Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger" are $1.25 per hour for the first four hours and $2 per hour after that. Go online to create an account or for more information about this system.
- Elm Street/Greene Street Parking Lot, entrance of the lot on Greene Street side. The rate to use the "DC Fast Charger" is $12 per hour with a $1 minimum (pro-rated by the minute). Go online to create an account or for more information about this system.
Charging station fees do not include the regular deck/lot parking fees that must also be paid."
