"Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded Aug. 6 at 8:51pm to an armed robbery at the Subway Restaurant located at 660 Hanes Mall
Boulevard. Personnel at the business
advised that a black male wearing a camouflage sweatshirt and gray sweatpants and a bandana around his face entered the business and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect threatened the use of a weapon
but none was displayed. The suspect fled
the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
This investigation has been referred to the Criminal
Investigation Division.
