"At 2:46 a.m. on Nov. 1, Greensboro Police responded to the Gold’s Gym on 3120 Randleman Road in reference to an armed robbery. One of the two victims stated they were at a nearby apartment complex when a subject approached them brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Upon relinquishing an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect—one of the victims ran to the Gold’s Gym where someone called the police while the second victim was subsequently located elsewhere. This incident was later verified to have occurred at 3640 Lakefield Drive. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as a black-male, 5’05, wearing a black toboggan and a black hooded sweatshirt. The investigation is ongoing. The names and addresses of the victims are being withheld temporarily."
