"On. Nov. 30 at 8:05pm, Wiston-Salem Police Officers responded to the Food Lion (1415 S. Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem)
on a reported Purse Snatching. The 75-year-old female victim advised that she was
waiting on the sidewalk outside of the business for her daughter to complete
her purchase. The suspect then approached her and grabbed the purse from her
arm. The suspect then ran east along
Hawthorne Road.
The suspect is discribed as a white male, in his 30's, wearing a ray hat, gray coat with red trim, blue jeans,
5'8"-5'10", 160-180 lbs.
The victim was not injured during this incident.
The Winston-Salem Police Department requests that anyone
