Carolina Ale House to Host Kid’s Night with Santa to Raise Money for Boys & Girls Club

10% of All Day Food
Sales To Be Donated

"Winston-Salem, NC – On Tuesday, December 15, Carolina Ale House will partner with The Salvation Army International Boys & Girls Club to raise money for local children in need. 10% of all food sales for the day will be donated to the local Boys & Girls Clubs. From 5-8pm Santa will be in the building along with Bolt, the Winston-Salem Dash mascot. Bolt will be signing autographs and Tuesdays’ $0.99 Kids Meal specials will be available.

“The greatest of all mistakes is to do nothing because you think you can only do a little,” stated Dustin Hollar, Manager of Carolina Ale House – Winston-Salem. “We are honored we can help make a difference for the children in our local community and help give them a Christmas they may not otherwise receive.”

As part of the event Carolina Ale House will be sponsoring three families from the Boys & Girls Club and feeding 13 children from the Center of Hope. Center of Hope is an emergency family and single women shelter affiliated with The Salvation Army International Boys & Girls Club.

The Salvation Army International Boys & Girls Club Proceeds from this event will be given to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Winston-Salem to help buy sporting equipment and other items for children in need. In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that, and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Carolina Ale House is described as the better alternative to a typical sports bar with scratch-made food, a family-friendly atmosphere and extra special hospitality.   The restaurant serves a full menu seven days a week, 11am– 2am and features an impressive lineup of beers on tap (including a great local selection & a 40% craft beer lineup), 99 bottled beers and an extensive scratch menu that goes beyond the usual sports bar fare. Carolina Ale House has locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas & Florida and is scheduled to open in early 2016 in Richmond, Virginia.

Womble Carlyle Club members. A list of the available Herrera wines can
be found below, be sure to stop by and taste Herrera's wines as we will
be hosting a tasting Thursday night at the Womble Carlyle Club Bar.

Monica's Malbec
A medium-bodied dry red wine, this Malbec has hints of black cherry and
raspberry as well as rich vanilla notes.  Light oak and spice aromas
make this a perfect pairing with pork loin or rack of lamb.

Monica's Red
A sweet muscadine wine made from the Noble grape.  This wine supports a
fruity middle palate.  Its traditional grape flavor is rounded off with
concentrated notes of red plum.  Pair with a grilled burger or spring
mix salads with blue cheese crumbles.

Dry Riesling
This crisp, dry white wine has flavors of green apple and lively citrus
fruit.  The medium-bodied wine offers pleasant floral aromas.  Perfect
pairing for Asian fare or poultry.

Carolina's Riesling
A semi-sweet extra pale yellow with floral, peach, apricot, and green
apple fruit aromas.  The ripe honeydew and citric dry off flavors give
this wine good balance with a crisp, short finish.  This wine is an
exemplary and enjoyable Riesling that fairly shouts Carolina's ripeness.

Carolina's White
A sweet muscadine wine made from the Carlos grape.  This is a fragrant
and light wine with abundant grape flavor.  It has appealing tropical
fruit and subtle pear notes.  Pairs well with lemon sorbet or key lime
pie.

Rose'
This 100albec Rose' is a refreshing, dry wine that introduces itself
on the palate with notes of summer fruit and strawberry, finishing as
bright and welcoming as a summer evening.  Enjoy with spring mix salads,
Roguefort cheese, barbeque, or by itself with a good friend.

Red Sangria
This red sangria has bright lemon and lime fruit aromas that are as
inviting as its blackberry and citrus flavors.  This light and festive
wine is best enjoyed served over crushed ice, with an array of fruits.

White Sangria
This white sangria offers a delicious tropical wine with hints of
pineapple, coconut, and peach.  It pairs perfectly with fun and festive

gatherings on warm summer nights."
