SHOOTING ONE - "On July 5 at approximately 1:49am, Officers responded to Moses Cone Hospital in reference to a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot.
Upon arrival, Officers spoke to the victim who stated that he was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot area of 2302 Apache Street when two black males approached him, brandished a handgun, and demanded his vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and was shot in his lower extremity. The suspects then fled the area on foot without taking possession of the vehicle.
The suspects were described as black males, one of which was 6’1” tall, the other was 5’10” tall.
The victim suffered a non life threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing."
SHOOTING TWO - "On July 5, 2014 at approximately 2:46 am, Officers responded to 702 East Lindsey in reference to a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot.
Upon arrival, Officers spoke to the victim who stated that he was at a party in the area and suffered a gunshot wound.
The victim suffered a non life threatening injury to his lower extremity and was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
There is no suspect description available at this time.
The investigation is ongoing."
