"Artistic Motion School of Arts announces Company Auditions for the 2014 production of The Snow Queen.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm for dancers AGES 9-adult. The Artistic Motion Dance Company is designed to offer students the chance to work with advanced choreography, expand knowledge of dance and drama, increase performance experience, and become acquainted with the life of a professional performer. Artistic Motion is looking for motivated performers who are willing to commit their time and energy into becoming an integral part of a performing group. Company rehearsals are held on Saturdays from 1:15 pm – 3:30 pm. Rehearsals also occasionally occur on Sunday afternoons closer to production time.
Artistic Motion produces full-scale staged productions, with professional costuming and sets. “Twice a year we bring our dance, drama, and music students together in full productions featuring original choreography and scripts,” says Natalya Davison, Artistic Motion Executive Director. “This provides our students with the opportunity to be a participant in a true theatrical experience and provide the community with quality entertainment.”
