Greensboro Man Jailed for Fatal Shooting in April

"GREENSBORO, NC - A 26-year-old Greensboro man has been transferred to the Guilford County Jail and faces a First Degree Murder charge in connection with the shooting death of Antonio Kuamell King, 24.

King was shot inside his residence at 1104 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. on  April 8, 2015.  He was initially listed in critical but stable condition, however, his condition deteriorated and he succumbed to his wounds on April 9.  

Tristan Nivonte Morgan, 512 Farragut  St., was charged with the crime upon his release from Maury Correctional Institute in Hoookerton, NC where he was confined for a parole violation associated with burglary charges not related to the homicide.

Morgan and King were acquainted with each other prior to the shooting. The incident appears to have been result of an argument between the two. The nature of the disagreement is unclear.
Detectives are not looking for any other subjects at this time. "
